Rainier Ehrhardt is a staff photographer at the Augusta Chronicle in Augusta, Ga. He grew up in Le Mans, France and Birmingham, Ala., USA and began his career as a motorsports photographer covering sportscars and NASCAR in Europe and the United States. He has shot assignments for the Associated Press, USA Today, Montgomery Advertiser and edited photographs for www.motorsport.com. Recent awards include Associated Press Georgia photo of the month - December 2006 and Georgia Press Association third place portfolio 2007.
